Yep, Lars really wants to have snow during the Christmas vacation and preferably in Germany (his favorite country)! I sincerely hope we can do some dog sledding over there and make an excursion with a steam train! By the way, do you want to know what the Harz looks like? This is a picture I took last year:
Trips that we really would like to do before the end of the year:
1. Have a look at this:
Amazing, isn’t it? This documentary was filmed in the Netherlands, not far from Lelystad. It’s a drive of 2.5 hours from Brussels, so it should be doable. By the way, the nature reserve is called Oostvaardersplassen.
2. A visit to Dinant (Belgium). I haven’t been there for ages!
3. At least one visit to a Christmas market. Given the fact that I live with a Dane who is passionate about every aspect of Christmas, this is unavoidable!
4. De Zaanse Schans with its windmills.
Trips we are dreaming about for 2014:
- Going back to Poland.
- Go to at least one new Baltic country.
- Going back to the Balkans.
