On her way to the peak of Mount Everest, Trisha Nicholson started writing her most recent book Journey in Bhutan, Himalayan Trek in the Kingdom of the Thunder Dragon.
Her journey took her to villages such as Kathmandu, Annapurna and the Tibetean plateau. Over there, amazed by the outstanding landscapes, Nicholson took also time to observe the people who live up there, in the Himalayas, and then through a series of very expressing pictures, she made them talk with their own words in the pages of her book.
Their customs, their everyday problems, their clothes and their food are all reflected here, along with Trisha’s lively anecdotes that make the readers feel like adventurous travelers going by her side through the rough paths of the Himalayas, a place full of unique beauty, amazing constructions and people who are kind enough to warm the heart of all travelers during their journey to this mystical part of the world.
