Two Door Cinema Club are back with a new single ‘Changing Of The Seasons‘ produced by French DJ/Producer Madeon.
The title track, to be taken from their forthcoming 3 track EP, premiered as Zane Lowe’s ‘Hottest Record‘ on BBC Radio 1. Huw Stephens, who was sitting in for Zane, spoke with bassist Kevin Baird about their unique and fresh collaboration with Madeon:
“We were always big fans of Madeon. When we were in LA recording, we went to see him play and went for lunch. I think I bought him a hot-dog A couple of months later, we sent him this track and asked him would you like to do something with it and it it all went from there.”
‘Changing of The Seasons‘ has that consistent indie pop vibes we’ve come to expect and love from TDCC, while Madeons electro production and flourishes throughout gives the track some extra depth and standing.
Having performed at all the big festivals this summer including Glastonbury, Radio 1 Big Weekend and T in the park, TDCC have just announced their biggest headline show to date at London’s 02 Arena on Dec 13th. Tickets on sale Aug 21st. You can also catch TDCC at V Festival this weekend.
The ‘Changing Of The Seasons’ EP is set for release September 30th.
