his most famous solo number - Imagine. A simple but evocative song, Imagine describes a world where the boundaries that prevent us from being equal in this world are eradicated. For many, the idea of no religion or even nationality will undoubtedly be controversial but this is very much a song of peace and love. While Lennon wasn’t always an angel in life, especially during his time with The Beatles, it is still sad that a man that wrote and sang Imagine should die in such a violent and tragic way.
