From my review of the second season:"Basically, Game of Thrones is an amazing fantasy tale involving great characters, places, and plot. Pretty much everything awesome in fiction, with the exception of time travel and lightsabers, is implemented beautifully in some way, shape or form in this series. This is by no means, light watching. It is so immersive, that you'd have to remained focused for every second of every minute that you are watching the show, and even then, you probably will not be able to catch every little nuance about the story and its many, many characters and events."
This third season is based on the first half of the third book in the A Song of Ice and Fire series, A Storm of Swords. That's awesome, because that means that though we're done with the season, we're not even done with the third book yet! Lots more Game of Thrones goodness to come.
The series continued its stride with this season, with lots of characters and complexities unraveling with every day that passes in Westeros. There is happiness, love, politics, war, heartbreak, and whatever does happen remains to be very, very interesting.
Notable Cast:
Lena Headey as Cersei Lannister - Prior to this show, she was known for playing the Queen of Sparta in 300.
David Bradley as Lord Walder Frey- Most known as Filch from the Harry Potter series.
Verdict: 5/5 - Still the best series on air right now, possibly of all time!
The worst part of it all is that we have to wait until March or April next year for the fourth season to start. It's the best time for everyone else to catch up with the series, and maybe I could start reading the books, too!

PRO-TIP: Watch with subtitles if you have trouble with the accents, or want to know how names and places are spelled! (Thanks to MV!)
