Hey Cupcakes.. Happy Monday! Yesterday was on a mission to create a winged eye liner and After failing numerous times, I came up with a simplest trick to create a wing within seconds. Before we get into the tutorial, you may want to read/check my Experiments with the Liquid eyeliner . By now,you might have understood that I do not have a steady hand and I cant draw a single line using the liquid eye liner. But I love the winged eye liner so much that I want to try and try till I atleast get an impression of the wing lol. So, As a beginner I know its a pain to practice and that's I came up with a quick trick to get winged liner in no time.

Let's get into the tutorial:

It has 2 steps! Only!!

To begin: Begin with a clean eye. Wipe off any oil if you have an oily eye lid.

Step 1:
Take a tape and paste on the eye lid. One towards the crease and one exactly on the lid, close to the upper lash line. Depending upon the way you want the line to be, place the tape accordingly.

Step 2:

Just fill in the gap created by the tape with your favorite liquid liner. You may want to place another tape near the inner corner of the eye, but I was kind of ok drawing line there, so I skipped it.

Final Step:

Let the liner dry and once it gets dried up, take off the tape slowly. Tadaa... you got your winged eye liner in seconds!

Tips:

1. You can chose a coloured tape so as to have a precise idea on how much space you are covering. 2. Use a liner which dries quickly. 3. Your angle of pasting the tape, decide the length and width of the wing. 4. You can get creative and try some geometrical patterns. Using the liquid liner on the lower lashline gives extra depth to the eye! I just found that. Check it here.
