Turkey Travels Thus Far

+ Traveling Steez: my amazing Rails jacket & my all time favorite bowler hat that I can’t stop wearing.

Heyyyy ladies… how goes it? So let’s give a little bit of an update. Right now I am in the beautiful (and rainy) town of Sonoma. My gramps lives here so we are all coming out to celebrate the holiday. I will be here for a week and half and I couldn’t be more thrilled for the serious r&r I plan to indulge in.

Let’s start with my flight. I am not a big fan of flying, yet the fact my Dad so graciously booked me a trip on Virgin was a big treat. The ambient lighting, the personal television, the yummy cocktails, and the uber friendly flight attendants… when it comes to traveling, it’s the only way to go. When I arrived in San Francisco I was rather surprised, and worried, to see the weather was pretty warm. I packed my suitcase full of cold winter clothes. On the drive to the country I zonked out, but woke up to see it was quite a bit cooler and rainier here. Thank goodness.

My trip has only just begun, but I figured I would share as I go. These first few days have been pretty low key, but there are plenty more things I am excited about: my sister getting into town tomorrow, all my cousins arriving with their adorable babies, the personal masseuse coming to the house to give us ALL massages (thank goodness & thanks Gramps), seeing Twilight, and of course Thanksgiving. My Grandfather owns an olive oil press/store and it is connected to his good friends winery, the two of them are closing down shop to accommodate the 45+ guests in attendance for Turkey day. I am expecting it to be a pretty good time. Don’t you worry… I will keep you updated with pics & such.

Hope you all have a short work week & get to spend time with your loved ones!!

cute rainboots

+ My dads adorable, yet anxious ridden, pup (Riley) and I cruising in the rain. Stoked that I got a chance to rock my purple wellies & it looks like there will be many more chances.

+ Sorry for the not-so-great pictures. I need to give my dad a serious lesson in snapping a few somewhat decent shots.

My look: cable knit beanie found here, plaid flannel found here, two tone wellies found here.
