Triveni Ethnics-Destination for Indian Ethnic Clothing

Saree.. The name spells magic. Not only this is the most favorite of Indian women but also loved by women from western countries as well. Looks like just a 6yard cloth but is known to be so comfortable,elegant and considered so beautiful.If you live in India and if you are a girl, I am sure you own at least one saree in your wardrobe because the wardrobe feels so incomplete without a saree. There are many kinds of sarees which I mean the material and design.

About Triveni Ethnics:
Triveni Ethnics is a 30 year old saree manufacturer based in Surat. They recently added Kurtis,Lehangas and all the other ethnic women's wear apart from their very well known sarees. In 2011, the brand went online and made the life more easier for us who love online shopping.

The Saree:

My Take:
I have this very beautiful saree from Triveni Ethnics pictured below.
Apart from that,we do have many variations of draping a saree. I am a south indian girl and I know only two regional ways of wearing a saree.When I say, I know I mean I know how the outcome will be but not that I know exactly how to drape. I am sorry but I was planning for an OOTD but unfortunately, things didn't work out well on my side so I had to quit the idea.
Coming to the saree, I had the privilege to select my saree and I kind of lean towards black most of the times. So this time too, I had to pick a black saree with a very different looking border in beige and it has a maroon color border too. The maroon border is a velvet border with a jari lining which gave the saree a very elegant look. It can be worn for functions and parties. The saree has an attached blouse. The blouse was given totally in contrast with the saree in maroon shade with self design. The whole saree is elegant and stylish. I am yet to wear the saree but I juts tried the day when I got it. The saree is light weight and the material is not thin/transparent. The cloth/material is good for the price we pay and the design is unique and nice. The end jari border seems to be just ok I mean, if you wash a bit hard the jari may go off. It is delicate. As of now, I only see that as a con.
