The Giver by Lois Lowry   3. The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde   4. Animal Farm by George Orwell   5. The Outsiders by S. E. Hinton   6. The Odyssey by Homer   7. The Tell Tale Heart by Edgar Allen Poe   8. Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury   9. Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez   10. 1984 by George Orwell   Honestly, I could go on. Very few books I had to read in school were books I didn’t love. Either I’m a nerd or I was blessed with the most amazing English teachers my entire school life (which would be crazy since I moved ALL the TIME). But I feel like my curriculum has always been pretty awesome.
