The Notebook by Nicholas SparksI read it when my husband was out to sea when we first got married and sobbed like a crazy person. 2. The Fault in Our Stars by John GreenNot much makes me cry, but this book totally did at the end. 3. The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey NiffeneggerI didn’t actually cry, but it was upsetting and emotional. 4. The Book Thief by Marcus ZusakWhen Max made Liesel that children’s book, I had tears in my eyes. It was so beautiful. 5. Harry Potter series (Books #5 – #7) by J.K. RowlingOne word: Dobby.  6. Shiver series by Maggie StiefvaterThese books didn’t make me cry, but they almost did and it’s weird because I don’t know why. It’s a wonderful sort of feeling when a book makes me emotional without really knowing why I’m feeling so sad, happy, angsty, etc. 7. Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch AlbomThis book probably makes most people cry. 8. Suzanne’s Diary for Nicholas by James PattersonI remember this one being really sad. 9. I have only seen the movie The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, but I have to assume the book would make anyone cry, too. 10. And let’s be honest, anything by Nicholas Sparks is basically orchestrated to make you cry.
