Tomato Dosai (Indian Crepe with Tomato)

Here is a very very tasty and instant dosai recipe.Tomato dosa is a very very easy to make crepe with hot and sour taste.This can be prepared in a jiffy as it doesn't need much planning.The ingredients are also very simple ones mostly available in the pantry.Do try this very tasty and simple one.Tomato dosai (Crepe made with tomato and rice)

Star ingredient:Tomato
Time2 hours+15 minutes
Yield 10 dosas
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup raw rice
4-5 tomatoes
2 green chillies
2 dried red chillies
1/2 teaspoon asafoetida
1 small piece of ginger
Salt
Method:
1.Soak raw rice in water for around 2 hours.Drain and grind to a smooth paste along with all the other ingredients.Batter should be of normal dosa batter consistency.
Tomato dosai (Indian crepe with tomato)2.Heat a tava with little oil.Make thin dosas.Serve with chutney.

1.As tomatoes are added to the batter,the dosas get heated and caramelize very fast.So keep adjusting the heat.
2.You can add finely chopped onions to the batter for extra flavor.
3.If the dosas get stuck,try adding a table spoon of rava to the batter
