To Transfer Some Happiness

Random surfing generally ends with a "Eureka " moment for me. I am not ashamed to admit it ,I am addicted to the Internet.
When you see the flip side of the coin,I have no choice.Despite having two TVs in the house, I ,the Mistress of Sugar and Spices of this house have absolutely no control over the two remotes. One Bravia is hooked to cigarette smoke and HISTORY TV and the miniscreen is 21 inches too small for anything,even the PS4.Sacrilege,some may say.But in hindsight,it's a blessing.I do whatever I want to ,and watch what I can on the Internet,via either my phone or my iPad.But that "Eureka " moment came when I saw the advertisements for Tata Sky Transfer  . Imagine,the man of the house is also waylaid and is unable to see what he wants.And then that cheeky little brat comes and gets a one up on everyone because he is a lot more techno savvy.Check it out for yourself.

Don't get me wrong, I love smart little boys,but I wish I could wipe that "I am smarter than you "smirk of their faces.I know they are smarter,Darwin ensured that.But I am in control of my smart phone and iPad.And I love Tata Sky transfer already.I am watching dated reruns,snippets of programs and missing seasons upon seasons of my "Game of Thrones" ,"Greys Anatomy","Prison Break" (wait, is that over already?) and of course "Humsafar " while I enjoy being a lady of leisure . I can manage to record the shows on TATA Sky PLUS HD but generally never get the time to watch them,either because the only TV time I have is when I am baking or cooking in the kitchen. The rest of the time either of the boys usurp the remote and make me watch World War planes and bridges being built and Bear Gryllis eating squiggly worms.Yuk!I prefer to watch Rachel Allen bake or even Anthony Bourdain and his caustic diatribe about having to tolerate weird people around him.So for me TATA Sky Transfer would be a perfect option to upgrade to as the 600gb would be enough to record my shows too. The best part would be when I simply walk up to the TATA Sky transfer set top box and smirk, and the boys begin to crib and plead excuses from my cookery and tear inducing drama shows and all I will need to do will be TRANSFER.

That would be that "Eureka " moment again. When I don't need to bother with the boys TV choices and can finally watch my own.I can watch my shows while we travel, so now I'll be the mad lady in the departure lounge who looks at her iPad and keeps doubling up with laughter,or reaches for a crumpled tissue to wipe off her tears.So some smart Alec will come and investigate . Yes, I know the kind... We bloggers are a universal phenomenon, he'll have some kind words to write about me in his blogpost...Hello, you people! look carefully, the earplugs are sort of tangled in my hair .Pic:Tata Sky -the fancy new all in one remote. And all we'll need to do is ask for an upgrade. When we upgraded to the HD PLUS,it was done in 3 hours and at about 5000INR . And the upgrade to TATA SKY TRANSFER is only about 7200INR. So at this amount,we'll get a new remote, 600 gb space, 80 +channels of awesome content and live streaming of quality content... And the promise of newer stuff to come.
Not a bad deal huh?That's a small price to pay to transfer a LOT of happiness.
