Three Face Washes Under Rs 100 That Claim To Control Oil and Acne!

The hot and humid weather brings an oil slick face along. This is when you should start looking out for cleansers that claim to control oil and acne and meant for summer and monsoon when acne is troubling all faces. So I planned to take these three drugstore face washes for a test drive. 
My skin type is - - Oily/Sensitive in hot and humid weather. - Tend to get yellow acne on nose bridge, in the creases of bridge, chin and red acne on my forehead. Read - To know my skin type in hot and humid weather, and see pictures. (gross ones!)
How did I test these face washes? - I used this face washes for one week, twice a day in different surroundings like air conditioned room, in market full of dust and pollution. - I tested these faces washes with no other tropical acne treatments or any medications. - I expect these face washes to act a little differently for me as I am pregnant and I was in close to my 7th month and in my 7th month while testing. Garnier Neem Face Wash is a fresh, green color gel-based face wash with very subtle synthetic scent to it. As it claims to be soap-free, it doesn't lather well but is not behind in cleaning the face, greasiness and dirt. It leaves your skin supple and fresh. But it failed to do what it is meant for - removing pimples. Pimples remain as they were! But I would prefer this face wash out of other two because it is the mildest of all and keeps face oil-free for longer without making it dry.

Pears Oil Clear Glow Face Wash - Review

CLAIMS

 Pears Oil Clear Formula is a refreshing and gentle way to attain glowing, healthy looking skin. The special "Oil Clear Formula" gently cleans excess oil on the surface of the skin while helping to retain skin's essential oils and moisture.
It contains high quality skincare ingredients like glycerin and natural oils. Pears oil clear cleansing facewash is especially made to take care of even sensitive and delicate skin, cleansing thoroughly, yet gently and rising clean.

Pears Oil Clear Glow face Wash is the harshest face wash of all three face washes reviewed here. A close to dark green color face wash with synthetic yet very pleasant scent to it that lathers really well and thick. It makes the skin dry and stretchy, one of the few things that I dislike in face/body washes and cleansers. It doesn't claim to prevent oily skin like Clean and Clear Deep Action Face Wash, so I can not rate it based on that. But it does stay true to its claim that it clears oil on your face, the bad thing about it is by making skin dry. It might have glycerin and essential oils but I couldn't find that working on my skin.

Who's the winner?

Though none of these could do what I was expecting them to do, but I would choose Garnier Pure Active Neem Face Wash. It might have failed in preventing pimple and blackheads, but it does prove to be a gentle face wash that anybody would love to keep on their bathroom shelves.
