The week begins with a bit of a jolt, as Mercury in Cancer moves today (19th July) into a testing square to Chiron. This could be a moment where our words or decisions come back to haunt us, and we may have to swallow a large chunk of humble pie. You may be on the end of a sharp rebuke, or instead this may be a time of a learning experience as you start to realise the impact of saying something out of turn has had on someone? Sudden matters linked to education, local issues or travel may crop up in the news wires today.
Tuesday is a day where we can make some progress. Mercury fresh from the Chiron square will form a nice sextile to Uranus, and the communication channels will be buzzing once again. A day of bright ideas, swapping thoughts with others, group conversations and technical excellence. Get in touch with friends or colleagues, and see what they think.
There are no new connections on Wednesday however Thursday will be a busy day, as Venus rolls into Virgo and then immediately opposes Jupiter. Now this change of sign for Venus will make us much more careful in our spending habits, and much more attuned to our relationships. No more showboating and making grand gestures will pay off, but rather small acts of kindness and appreciation will be the order of the day. Adjusted and more modest values are often a result of Venus in Virgo, and the opposition to Jupiter, will in my opinion, only make us that more mindful.
Also on Thursday, the Sun moves into Leo, and Mars makes a nasty little inconjunct aspect to Pluto. The Sun in Leo is at complete odds to Venus shifting into Virgo, and on one level we will want to be on show, and in another we will prefer to stay out of the limelight. Maybe we will want want personal recognition, but when it comes to partnership issues or what we desire, we will want these things much more in the background? Certainly you will start to feel a shift in energy starting to happen, and more will occur next week too. On a separate note, Mars already in Leo will start to find that it is being undermined or manipulated in a public way, and this may lead to some kind of humiliation, irritation, or even anger. Mars in a fixed sign will not want to change course, and yet there may be a compulsion to adjust from a higher power. This is uneasy energy, and we may see a bit of a backlash today from those who feel as if they are being railroaded into a course of action, that they would rather not be taking.
On Friday, as the Sun forms an inconjunct aspect to Jupiter, then you may get into a situation where you accept a challenge, and then realise that you have taken on much more that you can deal with. The Sun in Leo always shows bravado, but Jupiter in Pisces will only increase the suffering and sacrifice, if you have made a mistake. Jupiter does allow us to learn and widen our perspectives though, so use any experience like this to be wiser and more knowledgeable in the future.
On Saturday we have a full Moon in Aquarius, quite a powerful one too, as it will be widely conjunct to Pluto. This will reveal the extent that something has transformed in your life, or it may dredge up a secret or underground issue that has remained working in the background for some considerable time. This may be a moment when the power or influence of a group, a friend, the community or someone you network with will be revealed. Use their influence to help your own situation. At the same time, Mercury will be making an exact water trine to Neptune. This is a lovely aspect opening our minds to all sorts of creative influences and ideas. Inspiration will be at a peak now, and in particular we will be able to feel what others want, like, and are willing to give up. This is also an aspect of getting your message across in a very fluid and pleasing way, so use your communication skills to the full.
Things will become a little more tense on that front on Sunday, as Mercury opposes Pluto. Now not only will you be able to get your message across via the weakening trine to Neptune, but you will be able to manipulate or control others to your way of thinking too. So plenty of chances of getting others to commit to following your lead without them realising; this is a dream scenario for those of a more dubious nature. Once you realise that you are being coerced into something untoward though, there may be a level of opposition that suddenly develops. This is also the perfect aspect for research, and for looking for hidden answers and meanings. A great day for analysis and for picking through the data to work out a perfect strategy.
