There's a warm feeling abut the coming week in the heavens above us, and we start off in a hugely philosophical mood with Mercury in humanistic Cancer making a trine to Jupiter in Pisces. This is a day of huge emotion and joy, both of tears of happiness and disappointment, and whichever side of the coin we find ourselves on, we will be able to learn lessons from all of those feelings surrounding us. There is a wide outreach surrounding the energy today, and we will understand that we can aspire to more and to go further than we have done. Big plans come out of Jupiter trine Mercury.
On the 13th July, the lovers in the sky meet up in the sign of of the lion. Mars and Venus make a conjunction at 19 degrees Leo and this is a day of showing love lots of love in the most dramatic way possible, experiencing romance and needing attention. This is a day of big gestures, of lavish spending, and of going that extra mile to get exactly what we want. Definitely not a time to hold back, but to truly let go and express whatever you feel inside.
On Thursday 15th the Sun moves into a compassionate and sensitive trine to Neptune as Chiron stations retrograde. After the very expressive days earlier in the week, there is a far more gentle and subtle feel to the energy now, as intuition and kindness takes over. We will need this soothing love, as a wound or hurt opens up requiring healing of some description. We may make sacrifices for others, help the disenfranchised and more vulnerable around us and be encouraged to show our compassionate side. Unreality and fantasy may be in the air too, and we may not be able to believe what is actually going on. A day of innocence and naivety perhaps, and escaping the rat race of everyday life, so find a place of peace and calm to recharge your batteries, if you can and recovering from what went before.
As the week ends, things will start to get decidedly more tricky. On Friday 16th, Venus forms an inconjunct aspect to Neptune and suddenly we might find that something or someone that we value or love might not be as straightforward, or as honest, as we think. There is a chance that we can get fooled by someone we care about, or we find out that the cost of something is not what we thought it was. This will be a reality check moment where we have to adjust to reality.
The Sun in Cancer moves into a opposition to Pluto on Saturday 17th July, and suddenly we may face a level of opposition that we haven't faced recently. There is a power battle going on now, and either we will be in a position to get our own way, or we will be manipulated or be backed into a corner to submit to the will of someone else. Be in control or be subtly controlled - this moment will be one of finality, where we will need to show both strength, resilience and determination.
Sunday will be a most unsettling day, as all of the inner planets make inconjunct aspects to outer planets. First Venus forms an inconjunct to Pluto, then Mercury makes an inconjunct to Saturn and then Mars makes an inconjunct to Neptune. We may feel strangely intense, lethargic and mentally blocked all at the same time if that makes sense and whatever we intend to do, we might have to adjust our expectations and ideas because the outcome just doesn't feel right. This day may be incredibly frustrating and one where we can never get the answers or responses we want. Satisfaction is not guaranteed, so lessen what you expect, take what you can get, and don't get angry if your free will is denied.
