Happy Labor day everyone. Hopefully you are enjoying your day off from work with loved ones, sipping cocktails, lounging at the beach or the pool, shopping with friends… whatever makes you happy. For those of you who aren’t exactly sure why we have this precious day off (or maybe you’re just a little rusty on your history), let’s have a little recap. The labor movement gave us weekends, overtime, 8 hour workdays, paid vacays, sick days, health benefits, etc… all things I think everyone is grateful for. Therefore, if you aren’t already drinking… grab your beverage of choice and toast to Labor Day!! Cheers.
Now for the real purpose of this post, let’s talk briefly about the whole can’t-wear-white-after-Labor-Day “rule”. All I really have to say is that this is complete bullshit. Sorry if you take offense to that. I am not saying wear your white day dress with sandals in the middle of fall, but you can definitely incorporate your favorite white staples into your chic fall/winter wardrobe as well.
