( Whaaaat the hell. Fried PB&J… would you? I didn’t! )
Last year I missed the fair, which was the first year in many years that I didn’t go. Meaning that I had to go this year- no ifs, ands, or buts about that one. I didn’t realize I only had a few days left before it closed down shop, so we rounded up the troops (me, my roommate, and her boyfriend), and headed to the San Diego County Fair.
Let’s just say I am now at home glued to my couch in a food coma… we indulged in funnel cake, grilled corn on the cob, grilled artichokes, fries, a pretzel, and ice cream (few of which I didn’t indulge in cause that whole gluten free deal). It was all delicious. Oh, and I am now the proud new owner to a goldfish that I named Elvis and the sickest shirt ever made. What a successful Sunday! Hope you all had a lovely weekend as well.
