I am officially wiped out. Considering tomorrow is Monday and I have quite the workload to conquer, I am trying to blog now. Let me set the scene for ya… it’s 8pm and we are all snuggled on the couch watching Beetlejuice (top 5 favorites), yet my lids are growing heavier and heavier by the second. I am exhausted, to say the least.
Friday night, for whatever reason, I was itching to get out for a little. My friends & I started off at one of my fave little restaurants in my hood and ended up consuming probably 1 too many pitchers. It got me feeling frisky enough to even venture all the way to the local dive bar, and by all the way- I mean two blocks.
Saturday, I woke up with a splitting headache from the prior night, and the most I did was probably make the move from my bed to my couch. Which was just fine because it was raining and there was a Halloween movie marathon on. A day full of Hocus Pocus, Coraline, The Addams Family Movies, and my roommates yummy homemade soup…I couldn’t have been happier.
The day of rest was much needed, cause Sunday I had to be up at 8am… which for me is pretty unheard of. I seriously have forgotten what morning looks like, and today was an unfriendly reminder. My other roommate’s company, CAF, hosted the San Diego Triathlon Challenge & my cousins come down from L.A. for the event each year. Since I love seeing them, I braved the morning time and made it out. Starbucks was an integral part of the equation.
Now, even though I can barely keep my eyes open, I am engulfed with Beetlejuice and am going to try my best to hold out for atleast another hour. Not to mention some pumpkin ice cream sounds pretty clutch right about now…

+ I seriously wait a whole year for these to be back in stock & when I saw them on my last trip to the store, I was sooooo excited. If you live by a Trader Joes… you must get yourself a cinnamon broom ASAP. Your house will smell like Fall for atleast 4 months. It’s magical.

+ New obsession: Juicing!! It was recomended to me by a friend, and I decided to give it a try. I bought a cheap juicer at first, not knowing if this is something I’d stick with. After only about a week of juicing, I seriously felt like a new person. The juicer I have now works just fine and is great for beginners like myself, but you have any suggestions of a GREAT one- I am all ears.
+ Currently Playing on my iPhone (as you may have seen above ⬆): Tristan Prettyman’s latest and greatest- Cedar & Gold. The whole album, which comes as no surprise, is fab fab fab. Be sure to check out The Rebound, it is one of those songs that brings on a huge smile, and maybe even an LOL.
+ My adorable little red-headed cousin who I could just eat up with a spoon! He is the happiest and most smiliest little boy. Great little man to spend my Sunday with
