Then and Now #FlashbackFriday

By Mummyoftwo @RaspberryGiggle

Watching Little Miss A play in the garden yesterday, enjoying the paddling pool and going up and down the slide made me realise how different this summer is going to be compared to last year.

Then and Now #FlashbackFriday

This time last year Little Miss A was just starting to find her feet and time out in the garden was spent pushing her walker around, crawling about on the grass exploring or just sitting on a blanket playing with her toys.

She had no real interest joining in with her big brother and would happily sit for ages in the tuff spot getting messy.

Well what a difference a year has made! Little Miss A has really found her confidence now and loves playing outside. She is up and down the slide all of the time, in and out of the playhouse getting out more and more toys and she no longer sits still anywhere, she is always on the go!

When we go to pick Little Mr A up from school she is straight off to play on the slide, needing no help from me unlike a lot of children her age. In some ways I am pleased that she is so independent, however, she is still so young, I sometimes wish she needed Mummy more!

It is days like yesterday that really make me feel grateful that I can stay at home with her and treasure all these precious moments.

My little girl is growing up fast and I don't want to miss a second...
