On our way to Prague, Lars and I saw the beautiful castle of Moritzburg:

Moritzburg is a village, located to the northwest of Dresden. Its main attraction is its Baroque castle, which was built in the 16th century. It then served mainly as a hunting lodge and other buildings were added afterwards. It is located on an artificial island and has four round towers.
We were a bit disappointed by the huge numbers of cars and tourists. It was very difficult to find a place to park the car, so I had to take pictures very quickly. That was a challenge as well, since people seemed to find it funny to stand in front of my camera whenever I wanted to photograph the castle.
According to Lars, the best time of the year to visit the castle and its park is autumn. I think it must be indeed beautiful to see this red and yellow castle surrounded by the vivid colors of the leaves of the trees.
