The Red Bull Brand is a powerhouse in extreme sports, sponsoring some of the best athletes and teams across snowboarding, mountain biking, climbing and more. They managed to take a simple energy drink, tasting and doing exactly like every other, and make it the sponsor to have in pretty much any sport and adventure activity!
Sadly the inventor of Red Bull, Chaleo Yoovidhya, died just yesterday, having turned the company in to a brand that now makes £230 million a year in the UK alone... incredible! From a drink to sponsoring athletes to producing some of the greatest extreme sport films around (see my Art of Flight review) they're slowly taking over the extreme sports world... with the incredible things they're doing I say let them!
