Anyone who knows me will tell you the satisfaction I get from a little forward planning. I'm one of those annoying people who likes to know well in advance what it is I'll be doing a week next Tuesday so that I can organize accordingly. A little sad - yes, a little pedantic - almost certainly, but that's just me.
Hand in hand with this, goes the fact that I am an obsessive list maker - whether it's a quick trip to the supermarket or a long weekend away, I'll always have it covered with my trusty ballpoint and jotter ready at my side.
And, not so far away from all this is the 'The Wish Jar'. Something I started doing at the beginning of this year, as opposed to just making the usual 'resolutions' was to write down each time I thought of a goal I wanted to achieve, then pop it into my little jar with the intention of opening it up at the end of the year in order to see which I had and hadn't managed to accomplish.
I posted the idea on my Instagram page (@SarahhhhP) at the time, but thought it might be nice to share it with you all on here in case anyone else was interested in doing the same. I find that not only does it really help in keeping me focussed but it also keeps my mind open to any new things I might want to try.
Do let me know if any of you decide to give it a go!
