So, here we are in the magnificent hall – getting married!
I remember on the day my face was hurting from smiling so much.
Richard’s mum and dad got up to do a reading that they wrote themselves whilst they were staying in the same place we got engaged – and it was about that very place! Doesn’t Richard’s mum look AMAZING in leopard print! You know, after watching other wedding videos and seeing other photographs of the first kiss of marriage, I realise ours is not the tamest I’ve seen – much more fire and passion! He held me so tight. I just love how happy we are here ‘pretending’ to sign the register for all the photographs! Obligatory confetti shot. This was when we had just left the Great Hall and were greeted with champagne. It was bliss! I love this photo of my sister giving me a hug! And off we go to have some Richard and Salma shots taken – this is what we got so good at on our engagement shoot! I can’t resist showing you this one. Unfortunately it missed going in the album. Only slightly though. Here we are – ‘looking into our future’ as husband and wife! The replicated ‘Fish Hut’ pose. How cinematic! Here’s where the fun started. We weren’t going to settle for the traditional group shots. We had SO much fun doing these! I’m so pleased everyone tackled my silly demands with gusto! This is one of my favourite shots – Richard pretending to be a shorty like my Daddy! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT! This one makes me smile. Every time. Stay tuned for more to come! All photos by Phil Barber.
