A couple of weeks ago the Little A’s were sent some of the Limited Edition Pom Bears in Pickled Onion flavour which have been released just in time for Halloween.
We are big fans of Pom Bears in the A house anyway so were intrigued to try this new flavour. If you haven’t come across Pom Bears before they are bear shaped crisps aimed at young children and are cooked in sunflower oil making them low in saturated fat. They are also approved by the Vegetarian society and contain no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.
The snacks arrived in very spooky packaging which Little Miss A wasted no time getting stuck into!
The Little A’s couldn’t wait to try the Pom Bears and had some with lunch. They both seemed to enjoy them and, as there are quite a lot in a packet, shared one between them. Little Mr A said they were delicious!
Naturally I had to try them myself and I was pleasantly surprised. When I think of pickled onion flavour crisps I think of a certain other brand which is incredibly strong and not something I think my children would particularly enjoy. The flavour on the pickled onion Pom Bears was really light, just enough to give them that oniony taste without being overpowering – perfect for little taste buds.
Little Mr A has been having these crisps in his school pack up too and has been chatting to his friends about them!
I would certainly recommend these Pom Bears for any little one who already loves the other Pom Bear snacks available and for anyone who hasn’t tried them yet, what are you waiting for?!
