I don't know what it is about this holiday, as I am not particularly pro-America in the slightest, despite living in the nation's capital. However, there's just something about the warm weather, the smell of grills, cookouts with friends, and fireworks that I absolutely adore. Add in the fact that, for the first time in five years, the weather was not the inside of an oven, but was instead absolutely perfect, and this was the greatest fourth ever! The only thing that would have made it a bit better is access to a beach. Alas.
