New Zealand Indie electronic group The Naked And Famous have returned with a brand new single ‘Hearts Like Ours‘.
Having released their debut album ‘Passive Me, Aggressive You’ in 2010, featuring the number 1 single ‘Young Blood’, the 5 piece ensemble unveiled details of their forthcoming follow up album ‘In Rolling Waves’, due September 16th.
‘Hearts Like Ours’ premiered as Zane Lowe’s ‘Hottest Record’, where Tom commented on their ‘Less Is More’ approach in comparison to previous records that delivered a far more aggressive vibe. Known for their melodic pop melodies and 80’s post-punk influences, ‘Hearts Like Ours’ has a real anthemic nature to it with it’s soaring feel-good chorus. Lead vocalist Alisa Xayalith brings artists like Chvrches and Little Daylight to mind with her sweet vocals. There’s great movement in this track, reflecting the album title perfectly.
