The Nail Care Routine.

By Brightowngirl @Brightowngirl
The Nail Care Routine.I will admit I am not one for being committed to giving myself regular full on manicures, in fact I am a little lazy when it comes to my nails, a quick slick of paint and off I go is usually all I can be bothered to do.
When I do make some effort with my nails though there is a few products I really rate to keep them looking healthy.
First up I use a pair of nail clippers, these ones are from boots to make sure all my nails are the same length. I then take a file to make sure the edges are smooth.
Once that is done I use the Sally Hansen Gel Cuticle Remover (£6.45) to tidy up my nail bed. This is a really gentle gel that you leave on for a few minutes to soften your cuticles and then using an orange stick you just push them back. I don't believe in cutting my cuticles and this remover is enough to keep everything tidy.
I then give my hands a quick wash and apply a layer of the Micro Cell Nail Wonder* (£13.95) which is a true multi purpose clear polish.
This is great to use on its own to protect and give them a lovely shine. It also can be used as a base or top coat too, it fills in grooves and ridges as well as being fast drying.
After applying the Nail Wonder I either apply polish or if I am leaving them bare I then apply a good amount of Micro Cell Nail Repair Rescue Oil* (£18.50) all over my nails and cuticles to help keep them nourished.
This oil is fairly light compared to some oils which makes it a lot easier to use and has a lovely subtle orange scent which I love. It is packed with Vitamin A, B5, C, E & F to protect and moisturise the nail.
My nails always look and feel so much more healthier after doing this and I really should make more effort to give myself a regular manicure.
What are your go to products to give your nails some TLC?
