The Little Reindeer – Review and Competition

By Mummyoftwo @RaspberryGiggle

We love a good Christmas film in the A household.  Come November Big Mr A starts getting out all of our Christmas DVD’s and cold weekend afternoons are spent snuggled on the sofa, with some popcorn, watching something christmassy!

Since we have had children we have had to think about which Christmas films we can watch to get them in the Christmas spirit (Die Hard isn’t really appropriate anymore!) so we were delighted when we were sent a lovely DVD from Abbey Home Media, The Little Reindeer.

The Little Reindeer – Review and Competition

The Little Reindeer is a short Christmas film (30 minutes) about a young boy and his special friendship with one of Santa’s reindeers.  On Christmas Eve the little reindeer is exploring Santa’s workshop when he accidentally falls into the wrapping machine and finds himself being delivered, as a present to the little boy.  The boy is delighted with his ‘gift’ and together they go on lots of magical adventures until Christmas arrives again and Santa comes to take back the reindeer.

The film is very much like the Snowman in that there is no talking, just music and sounds.  It is a nice little film and really put us in the Christmas spirit.  With it only being 30 minutes long it also kept the Little A’s attention throughout.

It is a really nice DVD and would make a great stocking filler.

Abbey Home Media have kindly given me three copies of the DVD to giveaway to my lucky readers.  To enter, simply fill in the Rafflecopter form, below.  Good luck!
