{Oh look. More lip products}.
It seems like every time I turn around, there's a new beauty trend hitting the markets. Some aren't worth it, but others are just ingenious. Like the lip crayon. They might be my new favorite things! I first encountered them at the Clinique counter on a trip to Macy's with my mom over the holidays a couple years ago. I was intrigued by the Chubby Stick, which promised a hint of color with balm-like texture. Moisture and tint? Done and done. But it seems like they're absolutely everywhere now, from drugstores to Sephora, everyone is making a lip crayon.
And I can totally see why! They're perfect to stash in your purse or on the go color (seriously, these are almost always in my bag) and are a cinch to apply - even without a mirror. The smaller tip means more precise application. And who doesn't like the twist-up design of these bad boys? Thankfully, they've been developed with longer-lasting formulas in recent years (the Chubby Stick doesn't last more than an hour on me, sadly), and these Revlonoptions are the cream of the crop. They come in a balm, matte, or glossy finish and are filled with saturated colors. They're absolutely perfect for summer, and I can't wait to get some more!
