By Shalinidigvijay @shalinidigvijay
The story continues...
Exit jodhpur to  Udaipur...Mewar
Day 9 January 7 2014
Next onto highway NH65
There's something about men and asking for directions.
THIS Seems to be manifesting itself in sweet child too...so Gps and sat nav are used liberally with nary a care for the roaming data charges.
Enroute ,something for the class IX students...Raika nomad pastoralists...
The journey and the rural backdrop of RajasthanI gave 10 rupees for the photographs and for asking about his animals...

And he was ecstatic, that made me feel so small ,I could have shelled out some more money...
The drive was arduous and I slept through most of it.GPS issues and unmarked roads made us wander and unhappy hubby dear needed to ask for directions, which made him like a bear with a sore head.
All hurdles crossed, our entry to the lake city was uneventful ...
And we finally managed to reach the hotel.
The city was rife with the preparations for the upcoming royal wedding of the Yuvraj Lajshya Raj on the 21st of January.
So we were lucky to have arrived then ,as the entire Udaipur would have been shut down for tourists a week latet.
The handsome prince and his wife and the Raja Sri Arvind Singhji.
