Today’s submission is 7/100, which still seems like a low number, even though it also means this project has been going on for 7 weeks. Anyone else submitting their work? Please, share your progress in the comments!
Submission 7 was to Kimberley Cameron & Associates based in Tiburon California. Formerly the Reece Halsey Agency.
They require a query/cover letter, 1 page synopsis, and the first 50 pages of your manuscript to emailed as word documents. You also have to submit to a specific agent and their website (kimberleycameron.com) lists bios of all their agents and the kind of books they like to represent. Which means they read almost all types of manuscripts, I don’t think there was a category I didn’t see represented by at least one of their agents.
According to writer’s market, they also get about 30% of their manuscripts from debut authors, which is a much higher rate than many of the other agents.
