First Impressions -:
One of the best comic book movies ever made. Combination of the characters, story and visual F/X was simply amazing. Loved it from the beginning to the end.Story -:
After defeating the Joker, Batman has decided to lay low to heal his wounds. In the mean time, something big is happening under the Gotham city that poses a great threat to the whole country. After getting a tip from the fellow Police commissioner and the detective John Blake (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) who amazingly figure out the truth about Bruce Wayne, Batman steps back into business. But struggles to survive in the outside world as a fugitive. It gets even worse when Catwomen (Anne Hathaway) repeatedly robs him and betray his trust.Villain of the movie, Bane (Tom Hardy) represents himself as a public nightmare that terrorizes Gotham city. After Batman's unsuccessful attempts to defeat Bane, he takes control over the Gotham city and starts a war. He becomes the judge and jury of right and wrong. And activates a nuclear bomb threatening to blow up the entire city with all the people in it. After finding his true self, The Dark Knight returns and this time he gets a little help from his new-found friends to save the city. But at the end it leaves him no choice but to risk his life in order to save the city.

This is my favorite Batman movie I've seen so far because it's the only one that I got the chance to see Batman getting his butt kicked for real. Reminded me that even superheros can be defeated sometimes. Bane was awesome. Actually there was more scenes and actions of Bane than Batman. But he couldn't really replace the epic Joker from TDK. Twisted tale hidden inside the movie was also very interesting. I never knew how it's gonna end until I saw the last 5 minutes of the movie.
Basically , The Dark Knight Rises will keep you at the edge of your seat until the end. You will be up for few surprises and I really can't explain them without spoiling the fun. Let's just say that in this movie Batman screws up big time, including his career, superhero life and also gets screwed up by a women. Don't get me wrong. It's not a bad thing. I've enjoyed watching that.
Bad Stuff -:
Bane reminded me of a modern / British version of Darth Vader. As you may imagine, that combination doesn't go well together. And this film also had few stupid character connections as well. Like how the hell did John Blake found out about Batman's true identity? Most importantly, how the hell did Bane find the truth about Bruce Wayne and his secret weapon hideout? WTF ?While I'm impressed by the amazing acting of Tom Hardy as Bane, who performed it really well using nothing but his eyes and body, his voice seems a little bit out of the picture. I also wished there were few more Batman's action scenes. And also maybe some hot scenes of Catwoman as well. Maybe we will get to see that in a new Catwoman solo film in near future.

Conclusion -:
If you look at this movie with a negative mind, you will see a lot of bad stuff. Like there's only few scenes of Batman actions and also it looked more like war drama rather than a superhero flick. But as a huge fan of Batman, I'm satisfied with the work done by Nolan and I don't think anyone could ever do it better than him. At least not for a couple more decades. What do you think about this movie? Leave a comment.
