Now, before I get started with my actual post I just want to let you all know I’m typing this post entirely on my iPhone because the Internet is down in my dwelling and will be until the new modem arrives. So please excuse any and all spelling errors, typos, and funny autocorrect errors. Not that I spend much time proofing my other posts but now I finally have a real excuse!
Things are going well here in crossstitchyourheart world. My second eight week school for student teaching is going great and I’ve got some exciting stuff planned for my new group of kiddos. I get to teach The Book Thief an the Romantics. You don’t get luckier than that!
Now on to the real reason for this post. Halloween is only six days away! If you’ve been following my blog for awhile, know me in real life, or came over after the sad closure of Zombie Coffee Press you know I LOVE horror. So, in an attempt to celebrate the holiday with all of you fabulous blogosphere friends I’ve made a list of the horror movies to watch in these six days of All Hallows’ eve. I’ve been doing the Anticipation of Halloween Movie Madness on twitter but now I’ve actually got a list so all of you can follow along too.
Today (Friday) is Stephen King day so our movies are: “Misery” and “The Shining”
Saturday: “Let Me In”
Sunday: “Hannibal”
Monday: “Rosemary’s Baby”
Tuesday: “Bram Stoker’s Dracula”
Halloween: teen scream marathon “Scream 1-4″ and ending the holiday with my favorite series (and the best villain in horror history) “nightmare on elm street 1-6″ with the immortal, legendary Freddy Kruger.
In order to make things an even bigger deal then they are I will be live tweeting each movie in case you want to watch and comment along. (Although I’m not setting up times so it’ll be hit or miss. Except Misery because I’m watching it now.)
