The Coolest Cavern ...

Posted on the 26 January 2014 by Tlb Music Blog @TLB_Blog
Phexis has been featured with us many times now, and every time we seem to go back to him, he has something refreshing and new to offer. This time round, a collaboration with a local starlet known as George Ogilvie come in the form of 3/4 Cavern, and once again the young mix-master has managed to create something inspiring. Though rather slow in its upbringing, 3/4 Cavern is yet another corker that'll keep your head cool, and in the clouds.
The Coolest Cavern ...The opening sounds like it could have been a live taking of the underground system in London ... though we can't be completely sure. A sensual wisp comes over in the form of several simple notations, George enters with a somewhat Sam Smith-esque vocal, but this is not when it all kicks off and gets going. You'll be kept waiting but a few more seconds until it really hits you, but there's literally no way that you can miss it. The dripping beats that soak your soul, mixed with George's utterly beautiful vocal really will send you on a spellbound mystery tour with a sensual tingle all over your body.
The lyrics are relatively simple too; made up of around three verses repeated .... but this cannot be mocked or criticised here, because it, as a whole package, will only keep you entertained, mellow, and seriously ready for more.
We can't really get enough of Phexis, and with every new release, it is clear that his talent for the music game is growing. The new EP, Taurus, will be a free release later on this year on PTS, but for now, this magical beauty will keep you going for a while.
Paul.
