The Colorful Couch!
When it comes to whipping up a room for a client it's a process that I absolutely love! When it comes to designing for myself it's another story. I can go back and forth in my head a hundred times about the simplest of things like for instance my living room sofa. My classic time friendly approach to large pieces in design usually follow a neutral palette. There are exceptions such as that certain client who is just not that neutral gal or guy and truly wants the room to have big personality. In this case I bend the rules and go for it. For me I am torn! I love personality in a space and I am very traditional/eclectic in my own style. I am reupholstering my own sofa and although I am leaning towards neutral my heart is thinking color. What is your sofa's palette personality? Neutral or colorful?
