The Chemical Brothers are back with their official new single ‘Go’. Having received its premiere with Annie Mac as her Hottest Record, the synth-fuelled ‘Go’ serves as the follow up to the recently teased track ’Sometimes I Feel So Deserted’.
Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons have once again joined forces with American rapper Q-Tip, having previously collaborated on their 2005 single ‘Galvanize’. Speaking with Annie Mac about their collaboration, Rowlands commented:
“When we came up with that groove, we thought there’s only person we can go to with that. He has this amazing flow.”
‘Go’ Is taken from their 8th studio album titled ‘Born In The Echoes‘ and is set to feature a host of collaborations from St Vincent to Beck.
“We spent a lot of time making this record. To put an 8th album out, it’s got to be something that we love and we want to play to people and we feel excited about.”
‘Born In The Echoes’ is set for release July 17th via EMI, while ‘Go’ is available now. Upcoming dates for the duo include Sonar, Glastonbury, Longitude and Bestival.
