Little Mr A recently received the new 2014 Beano Annual to read and review.
We usually end up buying an annual each year but I have to admit usually do this in the sales after Christmas. I am always impressed with how much there is to read and do in them.
With Little Mr A’s reading coming along well he is enjoying reading different things now, such as comics, so I knew this would appeal to him.
The annual contains 112 pages packed full of comic strips, puzzles, games and even some jokes which Little Mr A really enjoyed (even though I don’t think he understood all of them!).
Even Little Miss A enjoyed having a look through at the pictures!
The Beano celebrates it’s 75th birthday in 2014 and all of the usual characters feature in the annual including The Bash Street Kids, Roger the Dodger, Minnie the Minx and, of course, Dennis the Menace!
When I showed it to Big Mr A it brought back great memories for him too and I think it would make a great Christmas gift for Beano fans young and old.
