Review of the AEG UltraCaptic Ucanimal

Today I am delighted to be hosting on my blog a guest post from the lovely Nicola over at Monsters Fun House.  She has been putting the AEG UltraCaptic Ucanimal through it’s paces and wanted to let everyone know all about it…

AEG Ultracaptic Ucanimal

We have recently been putting the AEG UltraCaptic Ucanimal through its paces and I have to say that I am mightily impressed!

Now if you’re anything like me then the first thing you’ll consider when buying a new household appliance is what you’re getting for your money and with an extensive list of brilliant looking features it certainly seems that the AEG UltraCaptic ticks all the boxes

Whilst there are just three of us in our household we seem to make enough mess to be worthy of a full-blown rugby team and as I’m a little bit of a clean freak all I ever seem to do it clean up after my messy boys so a vacuum cleaner which is both powerful and adaptable is a definite must.

AEG UltraCaptic Ucanimal

Thankfully this ultra modern vacuum cleaner comes with not one but three different nozzles allowing it to be used on any floor type and believe me we have a fair few in this house. From tiles in the kitchen and laminate in the front room to lino in the bathroom and carpets in the bedrooms, the AEG UltraCaptic certainly has a lot to contend with here!

UltraCaptic Ucanimal Nozzles

The UltraCaptics Silent AeroPro Silent nozzle is perfect for general cleaning as it can be switched between hard and carpeted flooring at the click of a button and thanks to the low-level of noise it emits is ideal for using once the little man is snoozing which is the only time I ever get to vacuum anyway.

The Turbo nozzle really shows how good it is on both long-haired carpets and households with malting pets. This being said I personally found it perfect at sucking up the extensive amount of hair that seems to malt from my own head on a daily basis!

The Parketto nozzle is an absolute dream to use on laminate, wooden and lino floors and seems to pick up every last speck of dust and dirt leaving my floors beautifully clean, well until the little man decided to drop his cocoa pops on the floor for the umpteenth time anyway!

These three nozzles combined with the UltraCaptics amazing 3 in one tool and telescopic handle ensures that this funky vacuum cleaner is simply brilliant at cleaning any type of surface and does so with both ease and precision whilst the long power cable, soft chunky handle and rubber wheels make manoeuvring the UltraCaptic a breeze.

AEG UltraCaptic Filter

Another fab feature of the UltraCaptic is it’s very handy HEPA 13 allergy filter which traps even the smallest particles and lets nothing escape apart from fresh air making the UltraCaptic an ideal vacuum cleaner for allergy sufferers .

Whilst I love all of these features my absolute favourite features has to be the UltraCaptics emptying system. Now at one point or another we’ve all experienced a face full of dust when trying to empty a bag less vacuum haven’t we? Well the very cool Compact, Remove and Go emptying system prevents hose dust clouds from attacking – check it out below.

AEG UltraCaptic Compact and Go Feature

The UltraCaptic is by far the best vacuum cleaner I have owned and at present the only minor niggle I’ve found is it’s 6.9kg weight which whilst it isn’t an issue for us it won’t be ideal for some buyers.

I’ve been using the AEG UltraCaptic Ucanimal for a good few weeks now and I have to admit that I have been bowled over with its style and functionality and in my personal opinion it really is the bees knees of Vacuum cleaners and certainly one which I would recommend to my friends and family .

Priced at around £299 the AEG UltraCaptic is at the higher end of the price market but as they say you get what you pay for and this stylish vacuum cleaner is certainly worth the pennies.
