Living in NYC definitely has it's benefits. One great benefit of my city, is the Caravan Stylist Studio. I was invited down to the studio a few months ago after attending one of their events. They mentioned something about complimentary hair, nails and makeup- I mean, how can I say no? I finally went down to get pampered and had so much fun. I walked out feeling like a total rock star. Valerie, the studio's hair, makeup and nail specialist was the sweetest. We discussed nail art, favorite cosmetic brands and talked boyfriends. I wanted to share my day at the Caravan Stylist Studio with you guys and tell you a little bit about them.
The studio is able to provide complimentary services to their celebrity clients and even bloggers like me, because of their amazing sponsorship they have with the brands they carry AND use! This isn't just for show people, they stand by every product they carry!
After Valerie hooked up my nails with these beautiful Zoya Nail Polishes, We then headed for some hair magic. It was a brutally hot day, so we went with a faux hawk which had two french braids on each side. Using the perfect products from Big Sexy Hair, this style sure fit my personality!
After hair, we went in for makeup. Valerie asked what I wanted and my response was "go crazy"- not the smartest thing to say to a makeup artist by the way. She took it easy and walked me through each product. I loved how she explained what each product does. Using Kryolan Cosmetics and MD Complete for skincare- I was sold on everything.
A BIG thank you to Karmela and Valerie who helped me with everything at the studio. I walked away with some awesome products also! This place is amazing and owner Claudine does a great job making her vision of "talent helping talent" work!
