You'll immediately notice the effects that both Disclosure and Nile Rodgers have on the track as they have managed to blend both of their unique styles perfectly. There's more than enough electro for you to understand that Disclosure have been involved, but plenty of funk too, just so you know that Nile has left his mark - Sam, whom we're yet to find on the bad side of anything, swings it all once again with his achingly seductive vocal to offer the final pieces of what can only be described as incredible, smooth, and outrageously attractive. We'd have to give it a fair few more listens to be able to give Jimmy Napes the credit, but we're sure that, given his track record, his song-writing capability has well and truly paid off in this instance too. The fact is, despite it being painfully short, we can't help but hit that repeat button, and that surely suggests that he is, as well as the others, very capable of something incredible.
The fact that this was chucked together in a a day at Timber St Studios really does show just how talented and impressive this new lot are. Disclosure and Sam Smith especially are newcomers to the whole industry game, but could sure as hell give plenty of older musicians a run for their money in terms of work ethic, and overall effect. This is a real beauty.
Paul.
