Ten 00's Movies You Must See Before You Die
2000s was a golden decade for the film industry. I actually like to think of it as the decade that gave birth to the modern superhero and adventure movies which now comes packing computer generated illusions and 3D. In this list I'm lining up some of my personal favorite movies from 2000 to 2009, according to each of its' awesomeness.

Lord of the Rings trilogy

This amazing adventure movie has beaten down Harry Potter from my list, mostly because it's much more mature and detailed than any other fantasy adventure flick I've ever seen. If you haven't seen this yet, don't even bother watching good movies at all.

The Dark Knight

In this film I witnessed the birth and death of the greatest villain I've ever seen on the big screen. Heath Ledger's portrayal of the joker was so amazing, I watched this film over and over just to see him acting. Unfortunately he passed away just after this film was released.

Pirates of the Caribbean

Johnny Depp gave life to a legendary drunk pirate who screws up everything he touches. And somehow he also manages to save the day as well. The series went on to make 4 titles and the 5th is on the way.

Shaun of the Dead

The zombie comedy movie is one of my favorite's of all time. This movie actually reminded me of how we would act if something like a zombie apocalypse were to happen in real life. I had a lot of laughs watching this one.

Watchmen

This was a superhero movie that came in on a whole different kind of an approach. The story, characters were all very different that most of mainstream movie fans hated this flick. Although, I love it.

Gladiator

This came out early in 00's. The amazing story and blood spilling action gave this film Academy and several more awards.

Iron Man

My favorite, badass superhero visited the big theater in 2008. Robert Downey Jr, became a online sensation after the Iron Man series and went on to even save The Avengers.

Inglourious Basterds

Kill Bill vol.1 and 2 were pretty amazing but I decided to place this one up as Quentin Tarantino's contribution to this list. This is one of my favorite WW II movies.

Zombieland

This movie is sort of like Shaun of the Dead. But it's a bit cooler. My most favorite thing was the list of rules that we get to hear throughout the film. It's not a LOL type of a movie, but it's pretty awesome.

Into the Wild

Inspired by a true story, Into The Wild came to theaters in 2007 as a heartwarming and inspiring movie. This is a must see film if you want to discover what freedom in life really means.
