With a name as memorable as Fei Fei Sun, this newcomer is currently on the tip of every major casting director’s tongue. The 21-year-old got her start in the industry in 2008, when she represented China for the worldwide Elite Model Look competition. Though she lost, Fei Fei booked the cover of Chinese Elle the following year, and became an all-around editorial superstar in her native country. Naturally, Karl Lagerfeld handpicked her for his Chanel Paris-Shanghai show. Her ascent only continued during the fall 2010 shows, closing for Vivienne Westwood in London and walking for Jil Sander, Miu Miu, and Hermès in Milan and Paris. And having recently signed with Women Management in New York, which represents modeling stalwarts Carmen Kass and Agyness Deyn, this girl’s getting groomed for the long haul.
