Sweet Treats ~ Caramels & More

My gift box of goodies

I used to love those little caramel squares as a kid.  You know ~ the ones in the clear celophane wrappers? One little piece felt so decadent ~ rich, creamy, just the right amount of sticky. Did you ever buy the sheets of caramel?  You just wrapped them around crisp, ripe granny smiths for the perfect caramel apple ~ maybe adding some sprinkles or crushed peanuts even?
While I don't have much of a sweet tooth, but when Fall approaches each year I do miss those treats.  This Fall I don't have to because I know about Seattle Sweets & Company.
Seattle Sweets & Co. "is a boutique purveyor of handmade organic caramels and sweets made with local & seasonal ingredients and packaged in sustainable, recyclable, and reusable materials."  They have a vegan selection, which is what got me so excited, and all of their products are gluten, soy and corn syrup free.
How cute is this box my goodies arrived in?  Corrugated brown paper tied bakery string, an eco-friendly tasting spoon, and a cute little magnet and button!
Sweet Treats ~ Caramels & More
Once I opened the tissue paper inside I found four little gifts ~ one bag of vegan organic fleur de sel & vanilla bean caramels and another of vegan organic raspberry & balsamic caramels, each individually wrapped in parchment paper.  I also received two toppings for frozen treats, vegan marshmallows or fruit: vegan organic salted caramel sauce and vegan organic dark chocolate hot fudge sauce.
Yes....
Seriously...
Don't think I didn't quickly purchase a pint of vanilla almond milk frozen dessert to give these two a platform.  Wow can they dress it up!  So good.... And those caramels? I didn't forget about them.  My family is lucky I even let them try any!  They were exactly what I'd hoped they would be ~ a grown up version of that treat I so loved as a little girl.  They brought back such great memories and, since they ship, I will surely be placing future orders.  Thank you, Marisa, for creating these delicious treats!
