We have this green bean recipe that has a sweet and sour taste. I thought I would mix it up and make the sauce with Brussels sprouts. If you think about it not a lot of people really like them. My father for a long time would not eat them. He said he couldn't get past the smell. They are like little heads of cabbage so when they start to cool down they kind of smell like cabbage too. When served and eaten hot, they are delicious roasted. I decided to up the taste factor by adding the sweet and sour flavor and make them over the top delicious.

This is now how we make our Brussels Sprouts. Everyone who tries them absolutely loves them, and so will you.

Sweet and Sour Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients:

1 1/2 pounds Brussel Sprouts

2 tablespoon butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon brown sugar

3 tablespoons Cider Vinegar

2 tablespoons bread crumbs
