Swatches and Review :: Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Shameless

After much raved Lipbutters and Lipstain balms, Revlon has come up with Matte Balms in super awesome colors. These look pretty much like any other lip crayons? I thought so too, so i went ahead and got one to test it out. I chose shameless (i couldn't get Unapologetic it was out of stock, now i better win that Indian Vanity Case Giveaway...hmmm) because i am currently obsessed with Purple toned lip colors and wanted one in rather bold color anyways. So i walked out with this Purple beauty and i tried the next day. Before the swatches here's little info about this Collection ~

One of the most gorgeous and bold colors from the collection (ofcourse after Unapologetic), its quite catchy and appeals to everyone who loves dark shades. Here's what i love and what i don't ~


Pros ::

• Gorgeous color and a bold one
• Color is quite buildable, so go lighter or go more bolder its just great
• Stays on for longer time than the previous collection of Balm stains
• Formula is matte but not drying, feels velvetty and easy to glide
• Though matte formula, even the driest of lips(mine are super dry) didn't show any signs of dryness 
• Matte formula so super velvetty that it didn't settle in fine lines either (many matte lip colors settle in fine lines for me)
• Comes in a twisty lip crayon style which is great (no more specially made sharpeners)
• Packaging is simple and easily identifiable as matte due to its finish

Cons ::

• Though these are super awesome, color does transfer
• 899 R for a Drugstore Lip Crayon is expensive
• These are not yet available online, need visit the Revlon counters at Malls to pick one

Other than these, am super happy with this Collection formula. Am currently into Matte phase and these are just perfect!!
And Unapologetic shade from this collection is a must swatch!! I so can't wait to get my hands on that one!!
