Svanninge Bakker is an area on Funen that Lars and I discovered earlier this year:

Some of the hills are more than 100 meters high, which is quite extraordinary in a flat country such as Denmark. Svanninge Bakker is a big area, with numerous places where you can admire the views and have something to eat and drink. Back in February, the hills were covered with a thick layer of snow! Now spring had come with all its shades of green for trees, plants, bushes, meadows and so on. Unfortunately, although it was very warm, it was also quite cloudy. Normally you can see small islands to the south of Funen, like for example Helnaes; that day they were almost invisible.
