We are building a grassroots movement to confront extreme energy development (such as tar sands and oil shale) on the Colorado Plateau and to foster community resilience in the face of climate change, and we need your help. This July 24-29, we will be hosting an action camp in southern Utah, to which we’re inviting locals from eastern Utah, western Colorado, and the Wasatch Front, indigenous communities who are fighting fossil fuels extraction, and people engaged in the climate justice movement from farther regions. Our objective is to draw on experience and knowledge that could be helpful to our burgeoning campaign, as we weave this resistance into the fabric of a global climate justice movement.

***The application deadline for the Canyon Country Action Camp has passed. If you are unable to make the camp, please consider donating what you can to help us make this important event a success. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
