Hello again! As it's my first week off for the Summer, we decided to go for a trip over to Scarborough, which is a seaside resort in the North East of England. It takes a while to drive there from where I live, but when we got there it was a very good, enjoyable day.
when we first got there, we had a little browse through the town center. We weren't looking to do any shopping, but a browse was required as I couldn't help myself from being lured into Topshop. We had a walk down to the sea front and we had our dinner. We got fish and chips, may I say, one of the best fish and chips I've ever had. I can't remember the name of the chip shop though. (sorry!). When you start to walk to Peasholm park from the sea front, you pass a little fairground. I emphasise, LITTLE... Anyway, me and my uncles girlfriend, Lucy, decided we were going to go on the twister. Lucy had her camera with her, and she took photos of us both on the ride. Looking out best of course! (sarcasm...) There is a long walk along the coast road to Peasholm park, which has a boating lake which we were planning to go on. When we got there, the boating lake was just closing up! It got me pretty annoyed as it was only half 3 in the afternoon. I found a little cafe that sold the Fentimans vintage fizzy drinks, and I bought a bottle of Victorian Lemonade, which I sat and ate in the park along with an ice cream. We then got the open top bus back to the main sea front, and we had a little look round the girt shops. I picked up the biggest bar of fudge I've probably ever seen, and a Victor and Rolf Flowerbomb perfume dupe called 'Updo Chic' for £6.99! Oh and the cutest anklet/bracelet which is too big for a bracelet and too small for an anklet! (Why do I have to have tiny wrists?)

I had a lovely day today, and I recommend Scarborough to anyone visiting the nearby area. It's lovely and definitely worth the visit!
