   Went out for a few hours today for some crappie/bass fishing.  I started off in my usual spot along the old dam.  I tried casting several different colors and sizes of maribou jigs.  I possibly had one bite but im not positive on that one.  I thought maybe the fish were looking for a more subtle presentation so I switched up to a 1/32 ounce maribou under a quill float. After having no luck with that method I switch to a 3 inch minnow jerkbait... no luck.  I fished for about two hours with only one possible bite.  There were a few other people there and from what I could tell none of them caught anything either. I think maybe the rain the night prior or the approaching front had shut them off.  oh well maybe next time.
