Well, summer is here (unofficially)! And DC welcomed it in with scorching temperatures. It started getting warmer mid-week last week, when I wore this, and I was sweating every second I was outside. 
I hope everyone had a good long weekend! I sat around and tried not to overheat most of the weekend, but on Sunday I met up with a couple of friends from college who were in town and we walked around Teddy Roosevelt Island (had no ideal that existed), got brunch, and then delicious french food. Ended the day by heading home in a thunderstorm, but the rain felt wonderful after the hot day.
